Footies and spirals
I finished knitting Milinda last night and now I just need to block her and sew her up!
Yay! I can’t believe how fast it went. I am almost finished with my first pink footie but I can’t decide whether to make ties to cross around the ankles, or just a button ankle strap. I really like how the faux rouching I added at the toe looks.
And what is this?
Something new on the needles? It doesn’t look like much yet, but it will soon be like the lovely red one. It is the Spiral Nebula Shawl from Heartstrings. I needed something small and simple to take with me on my trip to CA and this fits the bill nicely. Once you get started good, there are only 2 rows that repeat, and one of those is just Knit. This is the Shimmer yarn in Grape Hyacinth that I got from Knitpicks.

Hello, I am not sure this is how I ask questions on making the footies. I am a novice knitter. I sure would like to try the footies pattern. Ofcourse with your help that is.
Thank your for your time. Have a great day!

I want to corochet or knit my granddaughters a long spiral like my grandmother use to make for me. We use to tie them in our hair and they would hang down. I have an old one but can’t figure out how to make it.

I came across this site by accident looking for something else and saw your pink footies you were making. How did you do that “rouching”? thing on top of the toe? Also after you got them done, did it feel ok…or feel like you had something in your slipper?
Love the rest of the things you did also. Just love that green shawl you made. Thank you. ~Tricia
