Better than Cheese
Still plugging along on Elspeth.
I’ve just gotten to the armhole shaping on both fronts and will probably work them separately from here out. Last night, I joined my 3rd and last ball of yarn to Kiri so now I will have to decide just how big I can make her before starting the edging so that I won’t run out of yarn. What’s all this got to do with cheese? Nothing. But a couple nights ago I sent dh to town for cheese and look what he came home with. ——>
Six of these beautiful striped red roses. :smitten: Better than cheese! He hardly ever manages to come back with whatever I sent him after, but this time he actually had the cheese, too.
Since I don’t have any new knitting photos to share and I did promise the purling puppy group that I would occasionally post pooch pictures, I leave you with this. I did this for a Paint Shop Pro Workshop with one of my online groups. It was on colored edges, so yes, it is supposed to look like that. This is Bogart, demanding to know what I am doing on the OUTSIDE of the fence when he is clearly still on the INSIDE.

We need to figure out how to make a Boston Terrier sock dog. You have beautiful knitting projects and cute dogs!

Yahoo! Another Boston Terrier lover and a knitter to boot. Stumbled on your blog while reading other blogs. I don’t live in a swamp, but nearly, have 2 Bostons, and have been restruck by the knitting craze though I learned to knit in 1959 and have knitted on and off since then.
Thanks for the pictures, of the knitting and the dogs!

I’ve been looking despertly to find the name of those roses you pictured above, do you by chance know the name?
Thanks again.
