Ready for seaming!

Elspeth is ready for seaming, but I don’t think this elastic cotton yarn is going to work well for the sewing up so I need to get some matching embroidery floss tonight.
Kiri is getting close to being done and I want to save it to work on this weekend when I go home, so tonight I am going to cast on for the Flower Basket Shawl. I’ve joined the FBS Redux knitalong, though I doubt I’ll finish by the deadline. I plan to use the Alpaca Cloud laceweight, doubled, that I had started the first Kiri with. I don’t have much, if I double it, so I will just make the small size to wear as a scarf.

Wow, you are such an accomplished lace knitter! I started my FBS last night, and this morning I frogged the couple inches I had done because (drat) I answered the phone and dropped a stitch somewhere. I couldn’t figure out the graph at first, but finally (duh) realized that those shaded don’t refer to a stitch on the needle at all. Well, I’m a novice chart-reader, gotta start somewhere!
Can I ask a quick Lara question? Yours looks wonderful from the front, but I’m wondering about the neckline in the back. Does the fact that the neck opening kind of comes to a point bother you at all?
Thanks,
Rowena
Whoops, I left the wrong address. The above one is right.
