Elspeth finished and worn!

ElspethI wore Elspeth Saturday. I am not entirely happy with it but it is wearable. See the sleeves? I don’t like the way they stick out, probably due to my narrow shoulders. I may try gathering in the bottom of them with some clear elastic and see if I like that better. Also, the neckline is so large, it tends to slip off my shoulders, but maybe gathering the sleeves would also help that some. I may even try throwing it in the washer and dryer because I don’t think having the whole thing shrink a bit would be a bad thing. This Espirit yarn is very stretchy and I think it would be better suited to a pullover or a shrug.

tiny frog Look who we spotted on the pink amaryllis today. He is only about a half inch long. He was trying to nap but didn’t seem to mind me snapping his photo. Isn’t he a cutie? I put the amaryllis up out of Sophie’s reach so he wouldn’t get eaten. THIS kind of frog I like.

Perhaps you don’t like REALLY girly designs, but maybe if you buy some ribbon, and then weave it through the sleeves, and make them kind of puff a little, with little bows? You might need elastic too, but I think it’d be REALLY cute.

Jenn - Actually, I do like really girly things but I think I am getting too old to pull them off. :) I like that suggestion though and I think I will try it.
