Recycled Monster
I decided to play Month of Softies this month! The theme for April is Recycled Monster. Please meet Penelope. Her body is made from felt leftover from the hat and purse of this project. Her teeth are a broken hairclip. Her arms and shoes are from a Spaghetti Betty that came with a happy meal and her hair is from a scarf experiment for Barbie gone badly wrong. I hope that altogether she is better than the sum of her parts.
At least, she was fun to make.

She’s really cute! Cool use of found objects.

Adorable! What a great idea for the teeth–I always break my hairclips somehow. Hmm, maybe I should buy ones that cost more than 3 for $1

That has to be the coolest idea I’ve seen in ages, and completely cute to boot. What a clever use of found/recycled materials. Hats off!!
