Tangled Yoke

null Here’s my progress on the Tangled Yoke Cardigan. Instead of starting from the bottom up, I started at the yoke area with a provisional cast on. Later, I’ll pick up there and knit down so I can adjust it to fit. I need a different size for the top and bottom and none of the sizes listed were quite right. I thought this might be a good solution and Eunny assures me it should work. Let’s hope I can pull it off! The blue line is a lifeline I put in because I am also trying to make the fron neck fall just a bit lower and since I didn’t bother to calculate it, it’s kind of a hit or miss thing. The lifeline will let me easily frog back if I need to.

That is genius…I should have done it that way as well.

I’m never close to getting it right the first time in bottom-up wear…nothing beats a good ol top-down raglan :)

    Hi,

I think you may have my answer, I’m making this for my DIL and she is in between sizes and is rather buxum (old term, but you get my drift).

Would you be willilng to share some numbers with me?

    Thanks

That is brilliant. I really like this sweater, but have the same problem as you and really nothing I’ve ever knit has fit right.

I would have never thought of this solution, but If I ever make it I might do the same thing.

    Hi
I’ve just gotten to the yoke on the tangled yoke sweater and found the knitalong bit no one was having problems following the pattern. is it right that the cables are not coming from the 1-5? and at the centre back, I don’t understand how the 14 stitches becomes 8. can you suggest anything? I’m doing the 50″
    thanks,
    Karin
