My amaryllis were blooming so beautifully today, I had to go out and paint them in my journal. I brought just a few of these from our old house when we moved and I got them from my mom originally. I don’t have to do a thing to them and they bloom their head off every year. And they’re huge! I lost my moleskine journal when we moved, or at least, I haven’t been able to find it yet. I just bought a new one and this is the first thing I’ve done in it. A bright happy page to begin. This is just gesso and cheap acrylics over collage.
