Art in the Round, altered cheese boxes

August 5th, 2009 | Categories: Altered Art, General, Other Crafts, collage

The Art in the Round challenge over at The Three Muses was perfect for me this week. I’ve been working on these little altered cheese boxes for my etsy shoppe. I just finished “The Guardian of Wishes” this morning. I think they turned out so cute, even if I say so myself. :D Clicking on them will take you to my etsy shoppe where you can see nice big pictures and read the description of each one, if you’d like. I’ve been trying to pick a favorite, but I can’t decide. I’ve got one more box left to alter, and then I’ll have to eat some more cheese, LOL.

I also finished a little ornie doll but I need to recharge my camera batteries and get some photos before I can show that. I’m feeling very productive this week!

Melisa please try again. Just leave a comment saying we can find your entry on your blog. Sometimes trying to leave a link doesn’t work, AND it never works for me.

Oh yes, eat more cheese, these are just absolutely stunning. Bravo.

Taluula says you’re having problems posting. She gave you good advice. These little jewels are priceless, and everyone needs to see them!! Beautiful work.

Your work is fabulous!! Your altered cheese boxes are exquisite and so unique.
I think the posting problem is because your website doesn’t have a permalink to the Blogspot as sites like Wordpress, Typepad and Flickr do. If you are interested in participating in some of the blog challenges, you can apply for a username (not a blog) at the Blog and remain logged in so that you can leave your link without any problems. I hope that helps!

Nice little boxes. You should be happy with your own work. Otherwise, why make it?

Melisa, I am late getting to your blog and seeing the gorgeous cheese boxes. What an enormous amount of work and such a neat form of art.

Thanks for your comments on my Miss Sallie Rhea and her hat. I hope you will be able to enter the Three Muses challenge for this week, too.
