The 3 Muses challenge #10

August 12th, 2009 | Categories: Challenges, Journal

Please click to enlarge. Challenge #10 over at The Three Muses is Hats! I may still do something else for it, but I’ve been wanting to use this image in my journal so I did a journal page about hats. Did anyone else love the book Go Dogs, Go when they were little? “Do you like my hat?” “No, I do not like that hat!” LOL

I love your journal page, Melisa. I’m on my 14th journal, and I have such a good time with them. Thank you for bringing your talent to our challenge!

Oh I feel deprived, I never even heard of that book, must never have got to the UK. Seriously though this is a magnificent journal page. Bravo.

Melisa, I remember the book. It was a Dr. Seuss, I think. I must have read it a zillion times to my son. I think your art fits in well with: Do you like my hat? Lovely work.

Oh how I wish hats were still in. I can think of so fabulous hats that I have adored through out fashion history. Remember the “Victorian” era of hats? How I love them… or the Marie Antoinette era when they weren’t wearing those huge wigs? Great page. She looks like a pirate a bit no?
