I really love these creamy pencils, but I do wish they were erasable. They are so much smoother than the Prismacolor drawing pencils (used on yesterday’s AoC project), but the Prismacolors erase better.

He complains if I disappear into the art room. There’s not a lot I can do on the couch, especially with him sitting there too, but I can practice drawing in my sketchbook. This was last night’s “art on the couch”. Needs work, but it is just for practice so I won’t be doing anything else to it. It’s kind of nice to know that when I go to bed, it’s done, whether I like it or not. I don’t have to try to fix anything I don’t like, I don’t even have to finish it. But I still feel like I accomplished something I wouldn’t have just sitting there in front of the TV.

I’ve done a couple of pages in my new BIG journal but I haven’t scanned them yet. The size is a little daunting, after working in the little one. It takes longer to do a page and it is hard to find words to fill the space. I think the next one will be somewhere in between the little journal and the big one.
