It’s a bird pillow! I recently bought 2 of these chairs, which I love, but they came with matchy-matchy pillows, which was boring. I decided, for some reason, that I wanted a pillow shaped like a great big birdie, so I drew up a pattern and sewed it up. It could use some tweaking, but I don’t like to make the same project twice, so this will probably be the final product. I’ve decided his quirks are charming. :) Sophie, however, does not agree. She generally catches and eats birds (just the head, usually) but has never come across one that is as big as her. She hasn’t decided just what to do about it, but is keeping her eye on it. Bogie, in his typical fashion, just completely ignores it. If he refuses to acknowledge it’s existence, it does not exist.
